Shehzada Husain Bhaisaheb Burhanuddin DM is the third son of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Aqa TUS.
Shehzada Saheb DM completed his primary education in Mumbai’s MSB Educational Institute and thereafter graduated from Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, Surat. He memorised the entire Quran at a very young age and subsequent to his graduation from Aljamea, specialised in the art of Quranic recitation (tajwid) and the science of Quranic readings in Cairo, where he was officially accredited as a qari (distinguished reciter of the Quran).
Shehzada Saheb is an honorary member of the Naqabāt Qurrāʾ al-Quran (Guild of Quranic Reciters) in Cairo as well as the head of Mahad al-Zahra which was established by Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Aqa RA in 1396/1976.
He is the Chairman of SBUT cluster redevelopment project in Mumbai.
His administrative purview extends to the majority of Dawat-e-Hadiyah’s departments including Finance, Public Relations and Legal Affairs and he takes a keen personal interest in community initiatives such as Project Rise which strives for a comprehensive uplift in the lives of society’s less fortunate.
In addition to his other administrative duties, he is also the provost of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, tending to both the academic aspects of the institute as well as the construction and upkeep of its infrastructure.
Shehzada Saheb DM is also the founder of Raudat al-Quran al-Kareem, a school for young children located in Mumbai, which takes a Quran-centric approach to education and upbringing.
